PCB’s U-17 talent hunt: IMC, Galaxy Club players reach semifinals

In the Under-17 Talent Hunt Tournament organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), players from IMC School and Galaxy Club displayed outstanding performances and successfully advanced to the semifinals.

The young cricketers’ consistency and excellent teamwork earned them a prominent position in the tournament. Team captain Muhammad Abdullah shown exceptional all-round performance. He secured a total of 470 runs, including 6 half-centuries, while also excelling with the ball by claiming 30 wickets. He turned matches in his team’s favour on three occasions by taking five-wicket hauls.

Similarly, Muhammad Huzaifa showcased brilliant bowling, taking 27 wickets overall, including three five-wicket hauls, effectively dismantling opposition batting line-ups. Abdul Hadi Shah also contributed significantly with 16 wickets and played a key role in the team’s victories. In the batting department, Muhammad Inshal Ahmed impressed with a magnificent century and a half-century, proving his immense talent.

The tournament organizers praised the overall performances of all the players. On this occasion, the young cricketers attributed their success to the guidance and professional coaching of National Coach Zahoor Bhatti. They stated that Coach Bhatti’s hard work, discipline, and use of modern training methods instilled confidence and the drive to excel in the young players, which ultimately led to their impressive results in the tournament.
