NPAC meets DG ISPR, pledges support for national narrative

ISLAMABAD: The National Paigham-e-Aman Committee met the DG ISPR at GHQ to discuss national security. The committee assured full cooperation to promote Pakistan’s national narrative. Both sides reaffirmed unity against terrorism and anti-state narratives.

According to ISPR, NPAC leaders met Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry in Rawalpindi. The discussion focused on internal security challenges linked to the banned TTP and TTA. Consequently, both sides strengthened a shared and unified national stance.

Moreover, participants reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled positions on Kashmir and Gaza. The DG ISPR stressed unity on national security and consensus on the state narrative. He added that supporting oppressed people remains Pakistan’s moral responsibility.

Meanwhile, NPAC strongly condemned terrorism and rejected all forms of extremism. The committee announced zero tolerance for hate speech, sectarianism, and takfiri narratives. It pledged to promote unity, harmony, and constitutional equality nationwide.

Finally, NPAC proposed awareness sessions in mosques, madrasas, and universities. The DG ISPR said truth-based narratives defeat enemy psychological warfare. He termed the meeting productive and expected stronger cooperation ahead.
