LOS ANGELES: A star-studded benefit concert in Los Angeles raised $5.4 million to support children in Palestine and Sudan, blending music, surprise appearances, and political solidarity.

The third Artists for Aid show, organised by Canadian Sudanese artist Mustafa the Poet and hosted by Bella Hadid and Pedro Pascal, aimed to provide medical care and relief for children affected by war and humanitarian crises. “An artist’s power comes from the expansion of their empathy,” Mustafa said while introducing the night.

PCRF was honored to be part of the third edition of the incredible Artists for Aid benefit concert in Los Angeles, California, led by Sudanese-Canadian poet Mustafa and hosted by stars and long-time advocates for Palestinian children, Bella Hadid and Pedro Pascal.

Hadid addressed the audience, highlighting the plight of families in Palestine and Sudan. “Families living through unimaginable loss, displacement, hunger, violence, tonight we attempt to shield them… Even remembering is a protest,” she said, urging global support for affected children.

The concert, held at the Shrine Auditorium, featured performances by Alex G, Blood Orange, Clairo, Daniel Caesar, Faye Webster, Geese, Jazmine Sullivan, Lucy Dacus, Noname, Noor Hindi, Omar Apollo, Raphael Saadiq, Rex Orange County, Safia Elhillo, Shawn Mendes, Tamino, 070 Shake, and Mustafa. Chappell Roan made a surprise appearance during Lucy Dacus’s set, delighting the crowd.

Poets Noor Hindi and Safia Elhillo offered overtly political performances reflecting the ongoing crises. Two children evacuated from Gaza for life-saving treatment were present in the audience, symbolising the direct impact of the relief efforts.

The funds raised will support the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and the Sudanese American Physicians Association, aiding medical care, nutrition, and essential services for children in conflict zones.

This large-scale initiative follows previous efforts, including a September 2025 benefit concert raising $2 million and smaller charity events. The concert drew attention to ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Sudan, where atrocities and famine have created urgent humanitarian needs.

The event demonstrated how music and celebrity influence can drive global solidarity, turning empathy into tangible support for vulnerable children.
