Pakistan International Airlines has announced the resumption of direct Lahore-London flights from March 30. The move follows the airline’s gradual return to UK routes. Officials say the decision reflects strong passenger demand and operational readiness.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the airline is expanding its UK flight operations. Earlier, PIA resumed flights to Manchester and announced Islamabad-London flights from March 29. Therefore, arrangements for Lahore-London flights have now been finalised.

The spokesperson said PIA will operate up to seven UK flights by the end of March. Flights are being increased due to high demand from Pakistanis and expatriates in the UK. Moreover, all current UK-bound flights are operating at full capacity.
PIA will initially operate three weekly flights from Islamabad to London. In addition, one weekly flight will operate from Lahore to London. However, the airline plans to gradually increase frequencies and expand to other UK destinations.

PIA’s UK operations resume after long regulatory restrictions were lifted. EASA removed its ban in November 2024 after more than four years. Later, the UK cleared Pakistani airlines in 2025, paving the way for PIA’s return.
