
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Tuesday that he will hold a summit with leaders of Kyiv’s allies in France on January 6. The meeting comes as diplomatic efforts to end the war with Russia intensify.
Before the leaders’ summit, national security advisers from allied countries will convene on January 3. Zelensky said the advisers will review all documents and groundwork ahead of the discussions at the France summit.

The summit coincides with the approach of the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Fighting continues across several fronts despite ongoing diplomatic efforts and international pressure for a resolution.
Zelensky emphasized on social media the importance of thorough preparation, noting that security advisers’ deliberations are essential for productive discussions at the leaders’ level.
