Trump suggested Tehran may be rebuilding weapons programs after the US strike in June, saying, “We know exactly where they’re going, what they’re doing.” He emphasized avoiding wasteful military action unless necessary.

The meeting focused on moving to the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire, involving international peacekeeping forces in the Palestinian territory. Trump blamed Hamas for delaying disarmament and warned of “grave consequences” if it fails to comply.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to the ceasefire while stressing that Hamas must return the remains of the last Israeli hostage before further progress. The Rafah crossing with Egypt remains closed pending this step.
