Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, in a message to the nation on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam’s Day and Christmas, said that both days symbolize happiness and brotherhood. He said the entire nation is celebrating Quaid-e-Azam’s Day, while the Christian community is celebrating Christmas. He added that Quaid-e-Azam’s vision, based on the principles of unity, faith, and discipline, remains a guiding light for the nation today.
He said that all differences and divisions must be set aside and collective efforts made for the country’s development and the welfare of its people. To further strengthen Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan, he added, it is essential that every citizen is provided equal opportunities and that all citizens are able to live with freedom and dignity.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the nation must work together to promote its national identity and values so that the rights of all communities in Pakistan are protected. For the welfare and prosperity of Pakistan, he said, ego and prejudice must be discarded so the country can emerge as a strong and united nation.
He said that Christmas reminds us of the true message of peace, love, and compassion, and teaches us to work together for the creation of a prosperous society. He added that the Pakistan Peoples Party is committed to safeguarding and promoting the rights of minority communities in accordance with the principles laid down by Quaid-e-Azam.
