Study at Oxford: Sindh govt announces scholarships

The Sindh Education Department has announced prestigious scholarships for Pakistani students to pursue higher education at Oxford University.

These scholarships are available for graduate, master’s, MPhil, and PhD programs, aiming to support talented and deserving students from the province.

According to the department’s spokesperson, applicants must hold a Sindh domicile and a valid CNIC to qualify. In addition, candidates are required to meet Oxford University’s merit criteria, demonstrate strong academic performance, and have proficiency in the English language.

Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews before final selection. The initiative comes in the context of recent visits to Oxford by Bilawal Bhutto and the Chief Minister of Sindh, underscoring the provincial government’s commitment to fostering world-class education opportunities for its students.

The scholarship is expected to cover tuition, living expenses, and other academic costs, allowing students to focus on their research and studies at one of the world’s most renowned universities.
