The Pakistan Under-19 cricket team was given a hero’s welcome on their return to Pakistan after winning the ACC U19 Asia Cup for the first time in their history. The team arrived in the early hours of Monday at the Islamabad International Airport, where they were greeted with applause, bouquets, and loud celebrations from fans and officials alike.

A video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) showed the jubilant players and coaching staff being warmly welcomed as they walked through the airport terminal. Sumair Ahmed Syed, the PCB Chief Operating Officer, led the reception, personally congratulating the young cricketers on their historic win.

Fans, both young and old, also gathered in large numbers to celebrate the victory. They showered the players with rose petals and interacted with the team, expressing their pride and admiration for the squad’s performance. The team’s triumph marked a milestone in Pakistan’s cricketing history as they secured their maiden ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup title.

The final match saw Pakistan put up a dominant performance, setting a formidable total of 348 runs. Their bowlers then delivered a spectacular performance, bowling India out for just 156 runs in 26.2 overs to clinch a 191-run victory. Ali Raza was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets for 42 runs in 6.2 overs, while Abdul Subhan, Mohammad Sayyam, and Huzaifa Ahsan played key supporting roles, each claiming two wickets.
