Pakistan Under-19 reached the Asia Cup 2025 final after an eight-wicket victory over Bangladesh U19 on Friday. The semi-final was reduced to 27 overs per side due to rain and a wet outfield. Pakistan captain Farhan Yousaf’s decision to field first proved crucial in restricting Bangladesh.
Bangladesh struggled with the bat and were bowled out for 121 runs in 26.3 overs. Right-arm pacer Abdul Subhan starred with 4 wickets for 20 runs. Huzaifa Ahsan took 2 wickets while Ali Raza, Mohammad Sayyam, and Ahmed Hussain claimed one wicket each. Bangladesh never built momentum and Samiun Basir top-scored with 33 runs.
