Highlighting areas for collaboration, the president emphasized that Pakistan is keen to expand partnerships in investment, trade, energy, agriculture, and technology. He noted that stronger economic engagement could bring mutual benefits and promote sustainable development for both nations. Manpower cooperation and robust people-to-people contacts, he said, form the backbone of Pakistan–Qatar ties.

President Zardari reiterated his resolve to further strengthen bilateral friendship and expressed optimism about the future of Pakistan–Qatar relations. He called for continued dialogue and engagement to unlock the full potential of economic and cultural cooperation.

In a separate message marking World Farmers’ Day, the president paid tribute to Pakistani farmers, calling them the backbone of the national economy, food security, and rural development.
