According to media reports, Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner are expected to attend. Russia is likely to be represented by economic envoy Kirill Dmitriev. The White House declined to confirm the final delegations or outline the agenda.
Diplomatic activity has increased sharply in recent weeks as the war nears its fourth year. Witkoff and Kushner met President Vladimir Putin in Moscow in November. They also held discussions with Ukrainian and European leaders in Berlin. Despite these efforts, key differences remain unresolved.
