Lionel Messi visited Kolkata Stadium during his India tour but stayed only 10 to 20 minutes. Fans were furious. Many expressed anger over the extremely short visit. The brief appearance disappointed spectators who had expected a longer interaction with the football star.

According to Indian media, Messi did not kick the football or participate in any on-field activities. Fans complained that officials and political leaders surrounded him, preventing proper visibility. Social media quickly highlighted the dissatisfaction and frustration of Messi’s supporters across the city.

The anger escalated as some fans vandalized parts of the stadium. Spectators voiced their disappointment loudly, calling the event one of the worst celebrity visits. Authorities noted that security arrangements had limited the star’s interaction with fans, which fueled the unrest.
