ILT20 CEO praises Pakistani talent, hints at future collaborations

Published on: December 13, 2025 2:33 PM

ILT20 Chief Executive David White expressed his admiration for Pakistani cricketers and hopes to see more of them in the league. This season features Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Nawaz, and Naseem Shah. He also noted that franchise decisions, such as selecting players like Babar Azam, remain with the teams themselves.

White spoke about the possibility of an exhibition match between the PSL and ILT20 champion teams. He said, “Anything is possible in cricket,” adding that close ties with the Pakistan Cricket Board could make future collaboration exciting. Such an event would offer a unique experience for fans and players alike.

The ILT20 has now entered its fourth season, establishing a strong global identity. White highlighted that this year’s league offers higher competition, better fan engagement, thrilling matches, and outstanding player performances. He said the league continues to attract top talent from around the world.

ILT20 has formed formal partnerships with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait cricket to develop high-performance programs and infrastructure. Players from these countries are now entering the ILT20 auction, and matches in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are planned for the near future. White praised the league for helping local talent gain international experience, citing the UAE national team’s participation in the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.
