Soneri Bank marked Women Entrepreneurship Day and Women Financing Week with a comprehensive “Powered by Women” initiative, aligning its efforts with the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) industry wide agenda to advance women’s financial inclusion and economic empowerment.
Under this campaign, Soneri Bank introduced targeted promotional activities for its women-focused financial solutions, including the Soneri Ladies First Account, Soneri Ladies First Car Finance, the Soneri SME Current Account designed specifically for women and Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agriculture Loan as well as other SME Financing Products.
In partnership with Pakistan Single Window (PSW), an organization transforming Pakistan’s cross-border trade ecosystem, Soneri Bank conducted an extensive financial literacy session for women entrepreneurs representing a wide range of industries. The session covered key topics such as financing avenues for women and Shariah-Compliant banking solutions, equipping participants with practical knowledge to navigate today’s financial landscape.
Reinforcing its commitment to community upliftment, Soneri Bank also integrated meaningful CSR initiatives into the campaign. Women from Panah Shelter Homes were invited to a special capacity-building workshop focused on enhancing personal and professional development. The Bank further supported attendees by providing training materials and sewing kits to help them acquire income-generating skills.
To amplify the impact of the initiative, Soneri Bank teams engaged directly with women entrepreneurs across various cities visiting their businesses, learning about their journeys, and sharing how the Bank’s financial offerings can support their continued growth.
Further demonstrating its dedication to women’s economic empowerment, Soneri Bank served as Gold Sponsor for the Womenza Women Summit 2.0, a leading national platform for female entrepreneurs. Through this collaboration, the Bank supported Womenza’s mission to deliver capacity-building programs, business upskilling, networking opportunities, and e-commerce enablement for growth-oriented women across Pakistan.
