
Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to expand joint ventures in defence, communications, automobiles, and other sectors. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan met a 15-member Turkish delegation from Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Both sides emphasized the growing strategic and economic partnership between the two nations.
During discussions, the two countries agreed to model collaborations in defence, communications, aerospace, food, and automobiles on successful European partnerships. The Turkish delegation expressed strong interest in investing and partnering with Pakistani industries. Talks also focused on boosting manufacturing and industrial development.

Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for Turkey, saying, “Every Pakistani will stand shoulder to shoulder with his Turkish brother.” Delegates highlighted the emotional bond, noting that the patriotic song “Jeeve Jeeve Pakistan” is sung in Turkey with passion.
A major topic was the Islamabad–Tehran–Istanbul railway project. Khan assured full cooperation, stressing its importance for trade and connectivity across the three capitals. He described the last 18 months of Pakistan–Turkey relations as highly encouraging, citing growing Turkish business interest in Pakistan.

The Turkish delegation invited Khan to visit Bursa and explore more business-to-government partnerships. Khan assured commitment to expanding cooperation in defence and communications, calling them strategic pillars. Both sides concluded the meeting with a renewed resolve to strengthen trade, investment, and economic growth.
