
Pakistan cricket stars Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi have arrived in Australia to participate in the Big Bash League, adding experience and skill to their respective teams.
Babar Azam flew to Australia after attending a London roadshow and promptly joined his team, the Sydney Sixers, ahead of the upcoming league matches starting December 14.
Meanwhile, national one-day captain Shaheen Shah Afridi has linked up with Brisbane Heat, ready to showcase his fast-bowling prowess, while former captain Mohammad Rizwan had already joined Melbourne’s squad earlier.

Several other Pakistani players are also set to feature in this year’s Big Bash League, which will run from December 14 to January 28, providing fans with exciting cricket action.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, and Hasan Ali, allowing them to participate freely in the tournament.
With star players joining their respective franchises, the 2025-26 Big Bash League promises high-intensity matches and thrilling performances for cricket enthusiasts across the globe.
