The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will host Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Azad Kashmir for the first time. Matches are scheduled at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium, which is being upgraded to international standards. A five-star hotel will accommodate global players during the tournament.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the stadium is being prepared in the best possible way. He added that besides PSL matches, other international games will also be held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Officials hope these events will promote cricket and tourism in the region.
The initiative highlights development and peace in Azad Kashmir. It contrasts with ongoing violence in Indian-administered Kashmir. Naqvi emphasized that sports can promote unity and progress.
