
Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Saturday, following international market losses. The price per tola dropped by Rs2,300 to Rs442,162. Similarly, 10-gram gold fell by Rs1,972 to Rs379,082, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported.
On Friday, gold had risen by Rs3,000 per tola to Rs444,462, showing recent market volatility. Analysts said local prices closely follow global trends.

Internationally, gold declined by $23 to $4,198 per ounce, with a $20 premium. Traders linked the fall to global uncertainties and currency fluctuations.
Silver remained stable at Rs6,072 per tola. Jewelers advised buyers to monitor trends before making major purchases.

The APGJSA emphasized that international markets, import duties, and currency rates influence daily price changes, affecting both retail and wholesale rates.
