
Apple has announced its annual App Store Award winners, highlighting Tiimo, an AI-powered visual planner, as the best iPhone app of 2025, transforming traditional to-do lists into interactive visual timelines.
The recognition marks a notable moment as AI technology increasingly integrates into mainstream applications, despite Apple’s earlier hesitance to name a dedicated AI app among the top winners this year.
Alongside Tiimo, Apple also revealed other category winners, including Pokémon TCG Pocket as the best iPhone game, Detail for iPad, Essayist for Mac, and several apps recognized for cultural impact and inclusivity.

Cultural Impact awards highlighted apps like StoryGraph, which uses AI to recommend books based on reading habits, and Be My Eyes, offering AI-powered visual assistance for blind and low-vision users.
For iPad, Detail stood out for its AI-assisted video editing features, automating tasks such as removing silence and adding captions, while the Apple Watch winner, Strava, analysed workout data using AI insights.
