‘Not just a day’: Nasir Shah terms PPP founding day a ray of hope

Published on: December 1, 2025 1:08 AM

Housing and Town Planning Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, on the occasion of the 58th founding anniversary of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), paid tribute to the party’s founder Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, President Asif Ali Zardari, and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto. He said that the founding day reminds us that the PPP is not just politics, but a struggle written in blood. Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave new meaning to Pakistani politics with dignity, courage, and truthfulness. His emotions, oratory style, and love for the people remain alive in political history even today.

Nasir Shah said that Shaheed Bhutto made Pakistan a nuclear power and gave the unanimous Constitution of 1973. He said that the sacrifices made by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for the sake of democracy will always be recorded in history in golden letters. BB Shaheed not only upheld democracy but also set a new example of bravery for every Pakistani woman.

Nasir Shah said that BB Shaheed gifted the country with missile technology. He said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the bright torchbearer who is carrying the mission of the martyrs to the new generation. Bilawal Bhutto’s vision, truthfulness, and empathy for the people are proving him to be the strongest leader for Pakistan’s future.

President Asif Ali Zardari, through the slogan “Pakistan Khape,” saved the country from disintegration during difficult times. Nasir Shah said that the ideology of the PPP has always taught that the true name of politics is service, sacrifice, and struggle for the rights of the people. The founding day reminds us that the PPP was built with the blood of martyrs, the vision of martyrs, and the love of the people.

The ideas of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto still inspire every party worker with courage, zeal, and direction. Within Bilawal Bhutto, the courage of Shaheed Bhutto and the wisdom of Benazir Bhutto shine together. The PPP has always represented the voice of the common man, which is the real strength of the party. The Sindh government’s public service is part of the mission that the Bhutto family began for this country.

The Pakistan Peoples Party’s founding day is not just a day-it is a beacon of light and hope for the future.
