Imran Khan’s son Kasim Khan says the family has had no contact with the jailed former prime minister for over a month. He says authorities have ignored court orders that allowed visits and communication. He warns that the lack of access raises serious concerns about Imran’s safety.
Kasim says Imran has spent the past six weeks in solitary confinement inside a death cell. He adds that there is no transparency around his father’s condition and no confirmation of his well-being. He also says Imran’s sisters have been blocked from every visit despite clear court directions.

Moreover, Kasim insists that this isolation is deliberate and meant to hide Imran’s situation. He warns that the Pakistani government and its institutions will be held accountable for any harm. He urges global human rights groups and democratic countries to demand immediate proof of life.
Separately, PTI voices concern about what it calls malicious rumours regarding Imran’s health. The party says unverified claims are spreading through foreign media outlets and anonymous online accounts. It therefore asks the government to issue a clear statement and allow the family an urgent meeting.

Imran has remained in jail since 2023 on charges of corruption, land fraud and leaking state documents. He also faces trial for the May 9 riots, which the government says he helped incite. However, he denies wrongdoing and says all cases are politically motivated to weaken his party.
