The United Nations has warned that ongoing Israeli attacks and strict restrictions are severely blocking aid deliveries to Gaza. Most hospitals are only partially operational, and over 16,500 patients urgently need transfer for treatment. UN officials stressed that continuous fighting is causing both casualties and repeated obstacles to humanitarian assistance.
UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said eight planned aid movements coordinated with Israeli authorities on Tuesday were mostly blocked. Only one operation was allowed, while seven others were stopped, rejected, or canceled. He emphasized that every truck reaching Gaza can make a significant difference for those in need.

Currently, no hospital in Gaza is fully functional. Out of 36 hospitals, only 18 provide partial services. Thousands of patients remain in urgent need of treatment outside Gaza due to damaged facilities and limited medical resources.
The UN and its partners stated they are ready to scale up operations once restrictions ease. Humanitarian teams require unconditional access to ensure aid reaches every person in need. Dujarric urged Israel to allow safe passage for medical and relief efforts.

He warned that without immediate relief and full hospital operations, the humanitarian situation could worsen rapidly. International agencies continue calling for unrestricted aid access to prevent further human suffering in Gaza.
