The attack occurred at 8:11 a.m., with CCTV footage capturing the moment a suicide bomber detonated his device, triggering panic in the surrounding area. Following the initial blast, two additional attackers attempted to enter the premises but were neutralised by prompt security response, preventing further casualties.
According to the BDU report, the attackers used a total of 20 kilograms of explosives, distributed across three suicide jackets. Each jacket contained between 6 and 7 kilograms of explosive material, divided into front and back sections. The analysis indicates that the blast could have caused damage within a radius of up to 30 meters.

The report confirmed that the explosion was a suicide attack, with no evidence of remote control mechanisms. Additionally, authorities recovered eight hand grenades from the scene, along with two feet of primacord, a two-foot-long wire cut in the middle, and two 2-millimeter ball bearings.
All recovered evidence has been collected and sent for laboratory analysis to support ongoing investigations. The BDU report sheds light on the sophistication of the attackers’ planning and highlights the importance of vigilant security measures in preventing further casualties.
