Ranbir is currently filming Ramayan, in which he portrays Lord Ram. During the shoot, he had publicly stated he would avoid meat, alcohol, and smoking to maintain a sattvic lifestyle. His team had also confirmed these restrictions to the media, citing respect for the character.

However, the viral video shows Ranbir enjoying a family meal with mutton, beef, fish, and paya curry. He was joined by his mother Neetu Kapoor, cousin Kareena Kapoor, and her husband Saif Ali Khan. The footage comes from the show Dining with the Kapoors, created for Raj Kapoor’s 100th birthday celebrations.
Fans and social media users criticized Ranbir’s PR team, claiming they misled the public. Many said the team spread false claims about the actor’s diet during the film’s production. Some called for Bollywood PR teams to check videos before making announcements.
