In an official statement, Pakistan urged Singh and other Indian leaders to refrain from provocative rhetoric that could threaten peace and stability in the region. The Foreign Office emphasized that India would be better served by focusing on the security of its own citizens, particularly minority communities, and addressing discrimination rooted in faith-based prejudice and historical distortions.

The statement also highlighted India’s responsibility to tackle persistent grievances in its northeastern regions, where communities reportedly face systematic marginalization, identity-based persecution, and cycles of state-enabled violence. Pakistan stressed that ignoring these domestic challenges while making inflammatory remarks abroad undermines India’s credibility on the international stage.
