The film, initially expected to release by the end of 2019, faced multiple delays. Its main cast included Farhan Saeed, Sonya Hussyn, Feroze Khan, and Iman Ali, but it eventually released in November 2022 with limited box office success.
Farhan explained that working with a team lacking professionalism and facing constant issues can cause a project to fail. He felt that the casting choices were not ideal and contributed to the film’s underperformance.

He described the shooting experience as extremely challenging, especially in Nankana Sahib during subzero temperatures. Some cast members faced health issues, including Iman Ali, who often fainted and required special arrangements not always feasible on set.
Despite the difficulties, Farhan praised his core team members, including Qawi, Gul Rana, Sohail, Samia Mumtaz, and Raheela Agha, for their hard work and professionalism, noting that they never acted like big stars.
In a lighthearted comment, Farhan admitted that the Touch Button project “hit the wrong button” due to multiple issues and mistakes, reinforcing that he would avoid working with the same cast if given a second opportunity.
