
Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Friday said Pakistan will not yield to any form of terrorism. He emphasized that the country has the strength and capacity to eliminate the menace completely and will continue the fight until its conclusion.
Khawaja Asif accused India of waging a proxy war against Pakistan through Afghanistan. He said India aims to erase the humiliation it faced in recent border clashes and restore its international image. He added that repeated failures in direct confrontation have forced India to pursue destabilization tactics.

He warned that India’s attempts to undermine Pakistan through proxy terrorism will fail, and those involved will face humiliation. He praised Pakistan’s intelligence and security agencies for their effective operations against militants, highlighting ongoing successes in counterterrorism.
The minister also highlighted Pakistan’s growing international recognition. Global forums increasingly acknowledge the professionalism and discipline of Pakistan’s armed forces, boosting the country’s credibility and position in regional security matters.
