The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Bannu conducted an intelligence-based operation in collaboration with the district police, killing two most wanted target killers affiliated with Fitna Khawarij. According to CTD officials on Wednesday, the slain terrorists were identified as Fazalullah alias Faizullah and Safeer-ur-Rehman. Both were involved in multiple terrorist activities, including attacks on police personnel. During the operation, weapons and explosives, including Kalashnikov rifles, pistols, hand grenades, mobile phones and a card belonging to a banned organization were recovered from the scene. Authorities confirmed that two other accomplices of the terrorists managed to escape, prompting a search operation in the surrounding area. CTD officials reaffirmed their commitment to continuing efforts against terrorism and extremist networks in the region.
