
ISLAMABAD – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Belarusian delegation head Sergei Elink on the sidelines of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers Conference. Dar praised Elink’s participation and emphasized Pakistan’s long-standing friendship and cooperation with Belarus. Both leaders agreed to work on strengthening political, economic, and cultural ties.
During the meeting, Dar highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations. He noted the importance of dialogue and cooperation for mutual growth. Elink appreciated Pakistan’s initiatives and expressed willingness to expand collaboration in multiple sectors.

The Belarusian delegation also recognized the strategic importance of Pakistan in South Asia. Elink stated that deeper cooperation would create opportunities for trade, investment, and cultural exchanges between the nations. Both sides agreed to schedule follow-up meetings for future initiatives.
