Open trials for Punjab Men’s and Women’s Weightlifting Teams kicks off for National Games. In line with the directives of Punjab Sports Board Director General Khizer Afzal Chaudhary, open trials for the Punjab weightlifting teams (men and women) will be held for the upcoming 35th National Games, scheduled in Karachi.
Women’s trials will take place today 12 November in Following Body Weights 48kg, 53kg, 58kg,63kg,69kg,77kg,86kg,Plus 86kg
Men’s trials will follow on Thursday November 13 in Following Body Weights Categories 60kg,65kg,71kg,79kg,88kg,94kg,110kg,plus 110kg.Men and women weightlifters from Lahore,Gujranwala,Gujrat,Faisalabad,Rawalpindi,Multan,Dera Ghazi khan etc will participate. The trials will be supervised by Rashid Nadeem Butt, Associate Secretary of the Punjab Weightlifting Association.
