
RAWALPINDI – Pakistan’s Ali Naqvi has been appointed as match referee for the upcoming three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, scheduled to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 11 to 15.
For the first ODI, England’s Alexander Wharf of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires will serve as an on-field umpire alongside Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob from the ICC Emerging Panel. Bangladesh’s Saikat Sharfuddoula, also an ICC Elite Panel member, will act as the third umpire, while Rashid Riaz from the ICC International Panel of Umpires will be the fourth umpire.

The second ODI on November 13 will see Saikat Sharfuddoula and Faisal Afridi, another ICC International Panel umpire, officiating on-field, with Alexander Wharf taking charge as the third umpire and Asif Yaqoob serving as fourth umpire.
For the final ODI on November 15, Alexander Wharf and Rashid Riaz will be the on-field umpires, while Saikat Sharfuddoula and Faisal Afridi will fulfill the roles of third and fourth umpires, respectively. The series will be a key contest for both teams ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
