
Kate Hudson has opened up about turning down numerous acting opportunities to focus on raising her three children. The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star told Variety that making career sacrifices to be present for her children came naturally.
Speaking candidly, Hudson explained that saying “no” to work was an “easy” choice, especially as her youngest child, Rani, grew older. She emphasized the importance of making career decisions based on personal priorities rather than financial considerations.

Hudson, 46, is a mother to Ryder, 21, with ex-husband Chris Robinson; Bingham, 14, with former fiancé Matt Bellamy; and Rani, seven, with current partner Danny Fujikawa. She noted that balancing her career with motherhood has been a deliberate and fulfilling choice.
Despite her selective approach to acting, Hudson continues to shine in her career and has been tipped as a potential Oscar nominee for her performance in the recent film Song Sung Blue. She previously received an Academy Award nomination for Almost Famous in 2001, which marked a breakout moment in her career.
