
GHOTKI: At least 15 people were killed in Ubauro following a deadly gun battle between three tribes and a subsequent joint operation by police and Rangers against the armed groups.
Police officials said that the clash erupted among the Shar, Sailra, and Dondo tribes, prompting law enforcement agencies to launch a full-scale operation in the riverine area. During the operation, one police officer, Amjad Dargah, was martyred, and two others were injured in the exchange of fire.

Authorities confirmed that nine armed members of the Shar gang were killed, with seven bodies shifted to a nearby hospital. Efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend other suspects involved in the violence.
Six individuals from the Sailra and Dondo tribes also lost their lives during the firing, highlighting the intensity of the tribal conflict. Additional police and Ranger forces have been deployed to ensure the operation’s success and restore order in the region.

Officials said that the operation is still ongoing, and authorities are committed to taking strict action against the armed groups to prevent further clashes and ensure the safety of local residents.
