LOS ANGELES – Meghan Markle has drawn widespread criticism online after a video surfaced showing her celebrating the Los Angeles Dodgers’ World Series victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.
The clip, shared by Markle’s friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, captured the Duchess of Sussex jumping and cheering in excitement, while Prince Harry — reportedly a Blue Jays supporter — appeared far less enthusiastic.

However, the video quickly sparked backlash on social media, with users accusing Meghan of “faking” her excitement for the camera. Many claimed the video appeared “set up” and “staged,” suggesting it was intentionally filmed to project a particular image.
“Best game ever! Sorry H your team didn’t win but mine did. Dodgers I LOVE YOU!” read Zajfen’s caption on the post. But the comment section soon filled with criticism. “Looks so fake,” one user wrote, while another added, “Cameras constantly filming every moment.” Others mocked the video’s polished setup, calling it “irritating” and “performative.”
