Punjab inter- Club Men’s and Women weight Lifting Championships three days schedule started with 64 weightlifters participation from 15 clubs across Punjab. Four classes competitions were held on the first day of the Punjab Inter-Club Men’s Weightlifting Championship.
According to Media Coordinator Sohail Javed Butt, Colonel (retd) Muhammad Asif Dar inaugurated the event along with Faisal Hameed DSO Farkhan Aziz Butt, Aqeel Javed Butt, Rashid Nadeem Butt, Maqsood Amjad Rathore, Usman Rathore, Abubakar Ghani, Zeeshan Butt, Chaudhary Abdul Hameed Pehalwan,Qaiser Iftekhar, Kashif Barkat,Muhammad Furqan, Omar Lone, and others. At inaugural four Gold medals were won by Muhammad Saud Zia, Hoor Ali, Masab Sethi and Aamir Ali, silver medalists include Samuel Mansha, Abdul Rehman Wali, Ali Hussain, Farhan Jamil, bronze medalists include Lal Ali, Sayem Ajmal, Abdul Qadir, Shayan. Four classes of women’s competition will be held Sunday (today) at 11 am.
