
ABBOTTABAD – Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Friday reiterated that the Pakistan Army stands fully prepared to defend the homeland and that any external aggression will be met with a strong and severe response.
The DG ISPR expressed these views during an interactive session with teachers and students from various universities in Abbottabad. The discussion covered topics such as the Pakistan-Afghanistan situation, internal security challenges, and the ongoing Ma’raka-e-Haq campaign.

General Chaudhry said Pakistan had taken effective measures to combat terrorism and counter extremist elements, emphasizing that the armed forces and the nation together had made great sacrifices for peace. Participants paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Army for their dedication to the country’s security.
Vice-Chancellor of Hazara University, Dr. Ikramullah Khan, praised the army as the true symbol of national unity and patriotism, saying the military has always stood on the frontlines in defense of the country. Teachers highlighted the importance of providing youth with accurate and verified information to counter misleading narratives.

Students attending the session said they were proud of the Pakistan Army’s efforts and that the DG ISPR’s interaction helped clarify false propaganda spread on social media regarding national and provincial issues.
