
QUETTA – Mobile internet and data services in Quetta have been suspended for 24 hours due to security concerns, officials confirmed on Friday.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department of Balochistan, the suspension will remain in effect until midnight tonight across the entire Quetta district.
The department stated that the move is a precautionary measure aimed at strengthening and enhancing security arrangements in the provincial capital.

Authorities have not disclosed further details regarding the nature of the threat, but officials noted that the step was taken in coordination with law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety.
Mobile users across the city reported connectivity issues shortly after the notification was issued, with both voice and data services affected during the suspension period.
