
LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered the immediate operationalization of Air Punjab, urging authorities to fast-track actions on the airline’s first phase.
During a meeting chaired by the CM, officials reviewed the progress of the Air Punjab initiative. Maryam Nawaz emphasized the need for timely completion of all preparatory measures to ensure a smooth and prompt launch.

The first phase will include the key Lahore-Islamabad flight route, and the airline plans to lease modern, state-of-the-art aircraft to provide passengers with comfort and high-quality service. The meeting also touched on other infrastructure projects, including the Murree Glass Train, with the CM instructing officials to take the necessary steps for its successful implementation.
