The United Arab Emirates is discussing the possibility of sending security forces to Gaza. Presidential adviser Anwar Gargash confirmed this in an interview on Wednesday. These discussions are still ongoing and involve multiple international stakeholders.
Gargash said the move aims to support stability in the war-torn region. He stressed that restoring security is key to delivering aid and rebuilding Gaza’s basic infrastructure. The UAE remains committed to humanitarian support in Palestine.

He also pointed out that more efforts are needed to ensure enough aid reaches Gaza. According to Gargash, aid delivery is not meeting the current needs of the people. The UAE is working with partners to improve access and logistics.
In a firm statement, Gargash declared that the annexation of any part of Palestine is a “red line” for the UAE. He said such actions would severely damage peace efforts and further destabilize the region.

The UAE has previously provided medical aid, food supplies, and temporary shelters to Palestinians. Now, the talks about sending forces mark a potential shift towards greater involvement in Gaza’s post-conflict recovery.
