Pakistan condemns Israel’s violation of Gaza peace agreement

Published on: October 22, 2025 5:05 PM

Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s recent violation of the Gaza peace agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh. The Foreign Office spokesperson issued a statement demanding an immediate halt to Israeli military aggression. According to the statement, the latest Israeli attacks in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of numerous innocent civilians, including women and children. Pakistan said these actions blatantly defy the spirit and letter of the peace deal aimed at ending hostilities in the region.

Moreover, Pakistan called on the international community, including the United Nations and major powers, to take urgent steps to stop Israeli violations. The Foreign Office emphasized that the full implementation of the ceasefire is essential to protect Palestinian civilians and restore calm. Pakistan reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination. The statement reiterated the demand for establishing a sovereign Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, as recognized by international law.

Pakistan’s firm condemnation reflects its long-standing position in support of Palestinian rights and regional stability. The government urged all parties to respect international agreements, uphold human rights, and avoid actions that escalate violence. It also called for renewed diplomatic efforts to achieve a just and lasting solution to the conflict, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and peaceful negotiations.

This stance comes amid heightened tensions in Gaza following months of conflict and repeated breaches of ceasefire agreements. Pakistan stressed that peace and security in the Middle East depend on adherence to agreements like the Sharm El-Sheikh accord and respect for Palestinian sovereignty. The country’s call aligns with global demands for de-escalation and humanitarian relief for affected civilians.

Pakistan remains committed to advocating for justice, peace, and stability in the region through international cooperation and peaceful means.
