
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eliminate “Fitna al-Hindustan” — Indian-backed terrorist elements — from Pakistan’s soil, saying the nation will only breathe easy once the menace of terrorism is completely eradicated.
The statement came during a meeting between Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and Minister Naqvi, where both discussed law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the recent wave of terrorist attacks, and ongoing security operations against “Fitna al-Khawarij” in several districts of the province.

Naqvi praised the sacrifices of the security forces in operations targeting militants and paid tribute to the martyrs of the attacks on the Police Training Centre and the NADRA office in Dera Ismail Khan, calling their bravery instrumental in establishing lasting peace.
He said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, alongside law enforcement agencies, have fought terrorism with resilience, emphasizing that the terrorists of “Fitna al-Hindustan” are enemies of Pakistan’s unity and peace. “The federal government is fully supporting the province in maintaining law and order and countering terrorism,” Naqvi added, stressing that the sacrifices of the people of KP will never be forgotten.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi reiterated that peace is crucial for the province’s development and prosperity, noting that intelligence-based operations are essential to uproot the enemies of Pakistan. Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening coordination between federal and provincial institutions to ensure enduring peace and security in the region.
