Failed suicide attack in North Waziristan kills 5 civilians, militants killed

Published on: October 18, 2025 4:06 PM

Security forces stopped a suicide attack at Khadi Post in North Waziristan yesterday. The attack was carried out by the banned group Fitna-ul-Khawarij. Although the attack failed, it tragically killed three women and two children. The forces responded quickly and killed four terrorists involved in the attack. The banned group led by Gul Bahadur claimed responsibility for the blast.

The terrorist group operates under Afghan Taliban protection from across the border. After failing their mission, terrorists targeted innocent civilians to spread fear. Meanwhile, security forces launched another operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This operation killed two more terrorists and disrupted their plans. The forces remain active and focused on eradicating terrorism.

Officials emphasized their strong commitment to eliminate terrorism completely from Pakistan. They praised the bravery and swift response of security personnel during these operations. They also condemned the cowardly attack on civilians. The government urged people to support security efforts to restore peace.

This attack shows the ongoing challenge of terrorism, especially from groups hiding in neighboring Afghanistan. Security agencies continue working hard to dismantle these terror networks. They are improving intelligence and cooperation to prevent future attacks. The situation remains serious but manageable with strong efforts.
