In her remarks, Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja said the project represents a new chapter in Pak–Saudi friendship and supports Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision of a “Digital Nation Pakistan.” She emphasized that the hub will enable young Pakistani freelancers—already among the world’s top three outsourcing communities—to work remotely with Saudi firms. “This initiative moves Pakistan’s digital policies from paper to real-world execution,” she said, adding that the hub would generate jobs, attract investment, and expand Pakistan’s global tech footprint.
Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Al-Malki said the hub will focus on AI-driven solutions, skill development, and technology transfer. He added that the initiative reflects “the deep-rooted brotherhood and shared commitment” of both nations to innovation and education.

GO Group CEO Yahya Al-Mansour noted that Islamabad is now the second city after Silicon Valley to host such a hub. “This marks our confidence in Pakistan’s digital ecosystem and talented youth,” he said, announcing further investment in data centers and cybersecurity infrastructure. PSEB CEO Abu Bakar called the project a “win-win” that will open global opportunities for Pakistani startups and tech companies, highlighting how the initiative took shape in just three weeks due to strong Pak–Saudi cooperation. The GO AI Hub is expected to attract major investment, provide digital skills training, and serve as a platform for AI-driven innovation across Pakistan.
