Pakistan Army kills 15-20 Taliban in Spin Boldak clash

Published on: October 15, 2025 3:25 PM

The Pakistan Army successfully stopped attacks by Afghan Taliban and Fitnah al-Khawarij in Spin Boldak, Balochistan. ISPR reported militants attacked four locations, but the army forced them to retreat. Between 15 and 20 militants were killed during the counterattack. The militants used villages and innocent civilians as shields, putting many lives at risk. ISPR also condemned the militants for blowing up the Pakistan-Afghanistan Friendship Gate, damaging local ties.

Moreover, the security situation remains tense and unpredictable, ISPR warned. Reports indicate the militants are preparing for further attacks in the region. The Spin Boldak incident was part of a wider militant plan, not an isolated event. Meanwhile, the army also foiled a nighttime attack in Kurram sector. In that operation, forces destroyed eight Taliban posts and six tanks with their crews.

ISPR said around 25 to 30 militants from Taliban and Fitnah al-Khawarij were killed in Kurram sector. The army’s quick and strong response neutralized the threat before it could cause damage. Additionally, ISPR dismissed claims that Pakistan initiated the attacks. They called these accusations “false” and “baseless,” saying Taliban’s own statements don’t hold up against facts.

The Pakistan Army affirmed its full readiness to defend the country’s sovereignty and security at all costs. ISPR warned that any aggression against Pakistan will be met with a firm and effective response. They emphasized that the military remains vigilant to protect innocent civilians and maintain peace. This strong message underlines Pakistan’s commitment to fight terrorism and safeguard its borders.

In conclusion, Pakistan’s armed forces have successfully countered serious militant threats recently. Their decisive actions sent a clear warning to insurgents planning more violence. Stability and security in border areas remain a top priority for the government and military. Cooperation among security agencies will continue to prevent attacks and protect citizens. The situation remains dynamic, but Pakistan stands prepared for any challenge.
