
An Islamia College clash in Peshawar left two students injured on Tuesday after a violent dispute erupted between rival groups. The incident caused panic among students and staff as gunfire was reported inside the college premises. Police and college authorities quickly intervened to control the situation and ensure safety.
According to officials, the confrontation began as a political disagreement between members of two student organizations. The argument quickly turned violent, leading to physical fights and aerial firing. Witnesses said students ran for cover as chaos spread across the campus, disrupting regular classes and activities.

Both injured students were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. One of them, identified as Shah Fahad from Tehkal Bala, remains in critical condition. He was first admitted to Khyber Teaching Hospital and later shifted to Northwest Hospital for advanced care. The second student sustained minor injuries and is now stable.
Police arrived promptly and took control of the situation before further violence could occur. Authorities confirmed that 10 students involved in the Islamia College clash were detained for questioning. Investigations are underway to determine who initiated the conflict and whether weapons were brought onto campus.

The administration condemned the violence and vowed strict action against those responsible. Officials emphasized that educational institutions should remain safe spaces for learning, not for political rivalries. Police said security will be increased to prevent another Islamia College clash and to protect students’ safety in Peshawar.
