Chief Minister (CM) of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has announced that more than 50,000 Afghan nationals have been repatriated from the province to Afghanistan over the past 18 months, emphasizing that the process has been carried out with dignity and respect.
The update was shared via a post on X (formerly Twitter), where the CM reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to implementing the national repatriation policy for undocumented or unregistered foreign nationals. CM Bugti highlighted that he has issued specific directives to ensure the humane treatment of all individuals during the repatriation process. Special care is being taken for vulnerable groups, including the elderly, women and children, to ensure their safe and respectful return to Afghanistan via Chaman border.
