Sohail Afridi was present at the meeting, where party leaders and assembly members expressed unanimous confidence in his nomination. The leadership also resolved to follow constitutional and parliamentary procedures for the CM election.
Sources revealed that amid legal complexities over Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation, a fresh handwritten resignation letter has been drafted and will be forwarded to the Governor of KPK. Insiders believe this step could eliminate the need for a no-confidence motion.

With the political temperature in KPK rising, the next 24 hours are being seen as critical in determining the province’s future leadership and political direction.
