
RAHIM YAR KHAN – The Crime Control Department (CCD) announced on Saturday that Khawaja Tareef Gulshan, also known as Teefi Butt, was killed during a police encounter in the Kot Sabzal area.
According to police sources, Teefi Butt was under custody and was being transported to Lahore when his accomplices attacked the police convoy, freeing him from police control. Law enforcement officers immediately pursued the gang, leading to a heavy exchange of gunfire.

During the shootout, Teefi Butt was fatally shot by his own companions. Police later cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to capture the remaining suspects.
The suspect’s body was shifted to the morgue for post-mortem examination, while a police constable, Noor Hassan, was injured in the crossfire and taken to the hospital.
Authorities said efforts are underway to track down and arrest the remaining members of the gang.
