The National Institute of Public Policy (NIPP), a constituent unit of the National School of Public Policy (NSPP), organized a thought-provoking book talk on “Dekha Jinhein Palat Ke”, authored by renowned writer and journalist Dr. Farooq Adil.
The event brought together prominent scholars, journalists, and literary figures to reflect on the author’s latest work. The session was graced by distinguished keynote speakers including Mr. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Senior Journalist; Mr. Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi, acclaimed Pakistani columnist and poet; Dr. Muhammad Jamil Afaqi, Rector NSPP; and Dr. Naveed Elahi, Dean NIPP. In addition, other speakers included, Jamshed Ali Khan, Salman Ghani, Saleem Mansoor Khalid, Dr. Fareed Ahmad Paracha, Dr. Hussain Ahmed Paracha and Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood, who reflected and shared their thoughts on the book.
In his engaging discussion, Dr. Farooq Adil shared insights about his book, highlighting the social, political, and cultural themes embedded in his narratives. He emphasized the role of literature and journalism in shaping public thought and preserving the nation’s collective memory.
Speaking on the occasion, the esteemed panel of speakers appreciated Dr. Adil’s literary contributions, describing “Dekha Jinhein Palat Ke” as a reflective and inspiring piece of work that captures the spirit of contemporary Pakistan.
